Nice place, crowdy but to much noise, many people just sit and play cards and don’t buy anything, so not easy to find a place to sit if you want to buy and eat something. Tried their Strawberry Cheesecake was very delicious and their Chocolate pancakes and fruit pancakes, they was also delicious.
I recently visited Kaffehuset in Copenhagen and tried their Arabic breakfast/brunch set along with a hot chocolate. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. The food was delicious, well-presented, and felt authentic, with generous portions that make it great value. The hot chocolate was rich and comforting, perfect to enjoy with the meal. One important highlight is that Kaffehuset is a halal restaurant, which makes it an excellent choice for visitors looking for halal dining options in Copenhagen. The only downside is the furniture and interior, which felt a bit outdated and could use some upgrading to match the quality of the food. Despite that, the atmosphere was still pleasant and welcoming. If you’re looking for a tasty halal breakfast or brunch spot with friendly service, Kaffehuset is definitely worth a visit!
I walked into the Kaffehuset, craving a nice meal. I ordered a pasta salmon simple, classic. Ten minutes later, the waiter returned, looking at me and said: "Sorry, no salmon anymore." No problem, I thought. Pasta pesto it is! Another ten minutes passed by, and my dish arrived. But instead of pesto, I was staring at a steaming plate of pasta cheese. Alright, unexpected twist, but hey, cheese is great! Except… I had specifically asked for no meat.. And there, nestled between the penne, was a helpless chicken. At this point, I just sighed and embraced the chaos. Maybe the kitchen was playing some kind of surprise roulette? To wash it all down, I had ordered a ginger beer. What arrived? A ginger shot—so strong, silence arrived.. At least the meal kept me on my toes. Who needs predictable food when you can have a full-blown culinary adventure?
Really good mango smoothie and the ginger one! Good service and environment. The cake looks really good as well, but sadly, I didn't get to try them, next time!
Must visit halal restaurant and cafe if you are traveling to København/ Copenhagen city. Located a bit far from the city center like 20mins drive but worth the visit. Just last week we are family of four and we are breakfast there having: 1. Nachos with cheese, chicken and jalapeño chili 🌶️ it was very nice, the portion quite enough for us to shared. 2. Pistachio cheesecake 🧀 3. Red velvet cake 4. Fruit salad with cream and pistachio sauce dressing. I love it very much, serve with the wooden box and also the portion is enough for shared, the fruits are generous even though some of the fruits are not fresh and taste just plain, maybe because not the best seasonal of it. 5. We ordered drinks peanut butter milkshake and the one with berry and ginger but I forgot the name, they’re also taste really nice and we had a pleasant iftar (breakfasting) moment together. The ambience really nice, well not really squeaky clean toilet like the lamp is broken, but overall we are happy dinner there, the staffs/ servants are also friendly and helpful. They’re also have little praying room (mushola) for you who wants to praying maghrib after iftar.
