Il Mattarello

A great place for a delicious lunch. I had the Amatricana as a special whilst my wife had the cacio e Pepe and they were just amazing! Negroni’s to wash them down finished a great lunch!

Pure joy on a plate! I had the carbonara and tiramisu, and both were absolutely outstanding. The carbonara was everything it should be, beautifully balanced, and with a lovely heat from a freshly ground black pepper that gave the sauce real character. The tiramisu was the perfect finale. 🫶🏻 Impossibly light with a silk-smooth texture. I don’t think tiramisu can get better than this. Simply flawless cooking. If you care about authentic Italian food done to perfection, Il Mattarello delivers.

We tried the pasta tasting set menu, cacio e pepe was 10/10. Andrea was a great host, very knowledgeable & welcoming. Look forward to coming back 💫

The pasta here is delicious!!!! They cook it perfectly al dente and the flavor is so great!!! We had the cacio a pepe and pomodoro and they were both fantastic. The people who work here are also extremely warm! :) would come back everyday if I could!

I came back because I have such fond memories of dining here two years ago. The food is still absolutely delicious, and whenever I think of having a true carbonara in Copenhagen, this place will always come to mind first.
