Hoppe's

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great experience at Hoppe’s Cocktail Bar and Restaurant. They were wonderfully accommodating to our family of five (plus our dog!), which made the evening really special. The menu had a wide variety of cuisines, and everything we ordered was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. They also handled our dietary requirements with ease, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

I'm not sure what's going on with some of the reviews here but my friend and I had the best time at Hoppe's. There were two lovely bartenders, both were very friendly and helpful. They were in the middle of changing their menu (it's a slow process apparently) and some drinks we wanted weren't available. But they recommend new drinks from the new menu and my god they were to die for. All in all we drank 4 cocktails and all of them were divine. Definitely coming back

Great place to stop for a warm up while being a tourist in Copenhagen

I have been in this bar on Saturday evening with a few friends. Two of us ordered the same lemonade, while another one a different type. When we got the drinks, all three lemonades were the same, so two of the orders were wrong (we all got the passion fruit lemonade instead of two elderflower and one passion fruit). We accepted the mistake and did not complain, thinking they had just given us the wrong flavor. When we went to pay, we discovered that the passion fruit lemonade was way more expensive than the elder flower ones (23DKK more expensive per drink). So we mentioned that there was a mistake and we had ordered something else that was cheaper. The waiter was extremely rude, insisting there was no mistake and basically turned his back to us in a very annoyed way while we were explaining to go talk to the manager. We were brought to the manager and tried to explain what happened, but he was also just not listening and even told one of us "stop talking". Then he wanted to make up for it by offering us a shot of something, which we did not accept. Seeing that we would neither get our money back nor some excuses we just left. It was a horrible experience, terrible customer service and we felt like cheated on. Maybe they thought we were tourists they could just play with. Either way, completely unacceptable behaviour towards customers. They will never see us again and we will definitely spread the word about this place in our circles.

If you want to be told by the “manager” to stop talking and that you are telling things untrue, when you point out that the service was truly not nice at all, than that’s the place to be! A misunderstanding that could have been resolved with a polite, -I’m sorry, come back next time- turned to be an arrogant, rude argument on how we were in fault and lying about one of the waiter being disrespectful.
