Third-world level service. Having to book a seat in a long distance train? What is this, Ryanair booking extras? A shame. And obviously overpriced. Avoid if possible.
Our Rejsekort cards were overcharged. On our bus ride this morning, three scanners were out of order, and the driver instructed us to check in and out on the one working machine at the back of the bus, which we did. Later, after visiting a museum, we took the E train home, only to discover we had been charged 92 DKK each. The system incorrectly registered that we had been traveling for over 5 hours. As tourists, we are using anonymous Rejsekort cards purchased at the airport kiosk. Because of this, there is no way for either me or my husband to apply online for a refund for the overcharge. Neither of us have international calling cards so we were unable to call customer service which is why we visited this particular DSB location to try and resolve the matter in person. The woman at counter 1 (on 8/18/25, around 19:00) who we spoke with was both dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of attempting to find a solution or offering any assistance, she kept repeating that we would need to call the helpline ourselves even though I explained to her that we couldn’t call. She brushed us off and gave the impression that we were an inconvenience rather than customers in need of support. This experience has left us extremely put off by both the Rejsekort system and the customer service we encountered. It is unacceptable and embarrassing that travelers are penalized for equipment failures in your system and then offered no meaningful assistance in resolving the issue.
How disappointing! I was so disappointed. I thought DSB was basically visited by many newcomers from foreign countries. I didn't expect better service from them. However, they didn't explain it properly and made me sign up for a product and charged me a high price. When I asked why the price was so expensive, they said I chose it. When I asked for what I asked for, they threw the card at me as if they were annoyed. And after they didn't say anything, just typing. I couldn't understand if they were telling me to just leave or if they were telling me to wait while they issued the card I wanted. In the end, I got what I asked, but they threw the card and receipt at me again. Is this normal things in Denmark? I can't believe it. If you just wanna go home? Then you can go. Do not spoil the mood.
Absolutely useless service and policies. Entire server was down and not a single ticket machine working in the city (06/01/2020). Yet rather than allowing us to travel on the trains without a ticket they told me I had to wait in line for an hour to buy from a human staffed ticket window. People’s have trains to catch by a certain time... Luckily I was travelling to Malmö and so could buy a ticket from the Swedish ticket vending machine. Though they are only available at Copenhagen Central and I missed 2 trains in all the faff.
Horrible staff! They do not respect themselves, as the representitive maybe the one offering first impression to the world of this Country, they have bad attitude, they dun wanna tell you the train schedule or which platform but go look up to the screen yourself. We have been here 3 times to buy tickets cross countries and to the nearby city. The staff here didnt want to say a single word to you. Unfortunately we were in counter no.2 for 3 times, different staff, same attitude. Disappointed!
