Cafe Vivaldi

My friend and I came here for a brunch experience, and right away were disappointed by the service. I’m not sure if they do this for all customers, but my friend and I are both young women (19) and were asked to pay for our meal before we got it, and it made us feel unwelcome and as though they did not trust us due to our age. There was a table of 2 elderly people next to us, who did not pay in the beginning, but rather at the end of their visit. Also, when we were brought to our table, our server told us to come up to her to order once we were ready. However, once we did come up to her upon deciding our order, she rudely sent us back to our table and said she would take our order there. The food came out fine, not much too say. The atmosphere was nice, but the service overshadows this and it left a sour taste in our mouth

Great place however food is overpriced, a club sandwich was $40 cdn each and an ice tea was $15 cdn each. They charge $3 for using a credit card. Total for 2 clubs and 2 ice teas was approximately $120 cdn. Insane prices.

I ordered a burger, it was good but the price does not worth it, also the waitress were a little rude, I was a tourist and no body told me how to order or came from me to the place you supposed to wait for your table. It was not the best experience. Burger quality was good.

Staff really needs training Food was okay The place has nice interior and i was taking pictures so one of the staff girl told me not to take pictures it is not allowed to take pictures of restaurant i confirmed that you are not in pictures or any of staff (redhead) its only the place and she was very rude ( not even the place i said dont you understand) maybe she was racist or what idk. Food was okay not very good drink was good And they also charged for the glass of 🚰 water lol. That was not very good experience at all. Need to fix so many things

Café Vivaldi is a lovely place. It’s spacious and very comfortable so even when busy you don’t feel too close to many others. The place is clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Orders are placed at the bar, which is no problem at all! There’s a good choice of food and drinks all of which are made to a good standard. It is overpriced there’s no doubt about it, but I consider the comfort and environment as part of that cost I suppose. I visited here in a few occasions and was very happy each time. The best chips I’ve ever had and very nice fresh juices. There was one small incident that occurred. Not a big deal for us, but as soon as the staff realised we were instantly compensated as a gesture of good will. So thank you!
