Relaxed cafe with large windows & outside seats serving burgers, steaks, pasta & a lunch buffet....
The cafe's atmosphere was a bit awkward at first, as they weren't many people inside and there was no music. A group of young Danish lightened the mood when they arrived. The staff were friendly and efficient, no complains here. We order a drink each and a tapas plate. The quantity of food on the plate was a little under our expectations, given its price. The biggest flaw was the quality of the food we've been served. It was alright at best, but really felt like leftovers from the morning's brunch. Worst part was the meat and charcuterie, awfull taste and cooking. We forced ourselves to finish the plate because of the money we've invested in. We shouldn't have, one of us felt sick the night after. If you want to have a drink in the café, why not, but definitely reconsider if you want to eat there.
t’s a great place to start the day. I’ve been here many times, and it’s always a really nice experience. The staff are super friendly, and I always enjoy coming here. They also have a buffet every day, which is definitely worth trying. This is my favourite spot in Copenhagen. See you again soon!
We accidentally ran across Cafe G when actually looking for a different place. Not I forgot the other places babe but they specialized in Smorrebrods. Cafe G was so inviting with its covered outdoor seating and view of the courtyard, we couldn’t resist except to try. The food was very good though not the most superior. You can see the items from the photos but two of us shared two brunch dishes: the Smorrebrods plate and the Tapas plate. It was a lot of food! Really too much for two of us. Loved every item in the Tapas plate, from the prawns to the Brie to the steak. Smorrebrods are new to me and they are interesting but not my thing. The breads in particular are thick and not moist to me. And of course, pair the lunch with the famous Aperol Spritz! They were a little pushy gearing is in their space and seated, and really rushed us through ordering. I asked if this was too much for two people and he quickly said no. I suppose making a larger sale was very important to him. These meals were each about $30 USD. And it took quite some time for the food to come out as well. But we enjoyed the meal, the vibe, and the people watching!
great place to sit outside and have an afternoon snack and a local beer. this is my first time in Denmark and I was excited to try their smørrebørd!
Ok. Food is good in general and service good too but they forget something we order, anyway is fine. Tapas is really small portion but charge for USD19(129kr) which I think over price. Shrimp size is smaller than 5cm 😅🤦🏻♀️ But nice weather make things all better 🤞🏻🤞🏻
