Bette Café

Bette is a great place for both children and their parents. It’s a very well-designed combination of a children’s play area and a pleasant café, where parents can relax while kids enjoy themselves. Don’t expect a fine-dining experience or the best coffee in the world, but the coffee is genuinely good and high quality. During our stay in Copenhagen, we visited several times and always felt very comfortable there. We would definitely recommend it, especially to families with children.

The café itself is nice, but the cleanliness really needs improvement. There were food scraps all over the floor, and my one-year-old kept trying to pick them up. Tables were left uncleaned for hours, which made the place feel far from hygienic or comfortable.

I had a confirmed reservation for 8 people to celebrate my 35th birthday — I even travelled from Paris for it. When we arrived, the restaurant was taken over by a Christmas market, and all your staff said was “the system made a mistake,” delivered in a very rude tone. No apology, no explanation. Please be more professional and at least acknowledge the inconvenience. The way this was handled ruined the experience for me and my friends, and it’s not something we’ll keep quiet about.

Almost perfect spot! Super cozy with toys and activities for children. ​I wish there wasn't an ice cream freezer directly in front of the children's faces, it forces us to buy them ice cream as soon as they see it! It's a fun atmosphere overall, but that specific placement makes things difficult for parents.

Lovely cafe for mum and bubs/toddlers. Decked out for kids. The food on offer was so so and a bit pricey. My sandwich was so small 😢 The coffee was great. I would love to see mum boosting meals like chicken broth, green juices or breastfeeding muffins on the menu. All and all would recommend. 3.5 ✨
