Bastard Café Valby

This place is simply fantastic! The vibe is awesome, there are thousands of board games in really great shape. The staff members are soo kind, friendly, energetic and prompt. They smiled all the afternoon even after a demanding shift. The refill tea made my day, and the sweet potatoes fries were delicious. Different kind of people are coming by to eat, play or just chat here, but ya, this is another magical element of this place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was fun to try Bastard Café in Valby , because I have been to the one in Copenhagen. I really love the concept of board game cafés. It is such a nice way to go out with your friends and do something together, and the place in Valby is super nice and cosy. It is great that they have a good selection of free-to-play games, so you can sit and eat some snacks for a low price and still have fun, even if you do not want to spend much. We played Codenames and got nachos and fries, and it was super fun.

I made a spontaneous stop at Bastard Café Valby with my daughter, and we were pleasantly surprised by the unique board game-themed atmosphere. Fantastic smaller board game cafe in Valby. 👍 A bit smaller than the original Bastard Café, but less crowded and just as fun. 😀 Sweet and service minded staff and plenty of fun board games to play. The only problem we experienced was that some of the pages in a rule book was missing, but we found a Swedish version we could use. I will definitely come back again soon!

Board game cafe with the kindest and most helpful personnel. And they really nailed the business model and concept in a way that I feel understood and welcome all the time. No rigid rules or friction. Just plain fun and great times. I highly recommend!
