Weekday mornings are the quietest
I’ve been to Yun three times of my one week stay in Chiang Mai which probably says everything. The food is honestly incredible. Of course, the classic Burmese tea leaf salad is a must, but the rice dishes are just as impressive. Everything is packed with flavor, fresh, and beautifully balanced. There are also great vegetarian options which is important for me. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Really attentive. They know the menu inside out and are happy to explain dishes or make recommendations or variations for vegetarian/vegan. You feel genuinely taken care of. They also serve excellent coffee from a proper espresso machine and the atmosphere is calm and cozy, with comfortable chairs and a relaxed vibe. It’s quiet enough to work from your laptop if you want, and the internet connection is solid. On top of all that, the location is convenient and easy to reach. All in all a lovely place.
The cafe is nicely decorated with traditional Burmese artifacts with detailed explanations. The food was very good. We had spring rolls, a Burmese vegan rice pancake and pounded mutton tea leaves salad. We especially liked the salad.
The food and drinks are fantastic here. The staff are so friendly and they make the whole experience a true joy. Very chill atmosphere. We have been 3 times now and have enjoyed different dishes every visit. So far we haven’t ordered anything we didn’t like, plus it’s a nice variation from the usual Thai cuisine in the area. We love it here and plan to keep coming back throughout our stay in Chiang Mai. Highly recommend!
Delicious food, great service and good ambiance. The dragonfruit shake was good and so was the latte. Chill vibes, nice staff and a fair price! We will most definetly be back 🤗
We wanted to go to a Burmese restaurant in the area. They have arts, crafts, lacquer, and beautiful decorations from Bagan upstairs. My wife bought 3 pairs of earrings. Since we have made a trip to Myanmar, we had a warm and wonderful interaction with the staff. Kiss is particularly friendly and welcoming. Everything was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, especially for a nice restaurant like this. We can not recommend this place more. P. S. Ethan helped us park in the alleyway.
