Weekday mornings are the quietest
No A/C, place looks like it's about to fall into the river, the rear is basically a dump. No hello or smile upon entry, everyone wearing masks like they are afraid of breathing air. Skip it.
Iced Thai Tea 60 ฿ (2025) Has English menu. Great cafe to rest after the nearby market strolling. It is almost empty when i arrived. I could have nice AC, charge my phone and enjoy the quietness. Normally those popular cafe are crowded with instafamous and other tourist, so i am glad to be here. Spend a good couple hours to read and really enjoy myself.
No air conditioning but the place is five star with 100 hat drinks. The owner must have money issues, it's 39c outside and no Aircon. They do they just don't wanna turn it on. Place is failing for a reason
Dirty seats, dirty restrooms 🚻 but air conditioned The only reason to come in here abuy overpriced coffee or tea is the crypt quality AC. FILTHY, and I've been in Chiang Mai many times. The cloth chairs were so dirty I actually moved to a non cloth upholstered seat. ( see pics ). Restrooms were filthy. Next to Ping River, this place could be so much better for the price. Service was adequate at best. ●●●●●NOT RECOMMENDED unless you need a dose of AC in the Chiang Mai heat.●●●●● Final take....The 🍋 lemon iced tea was ok.
Super quaint coffee shop with an attached bookstore! Nice seating options by the river. As a heads up: their bathroom is out of service at the time of this review, so you’ll have to use the one across the street. Also, their AC is out of commission, though they are using portable AC units.
