Trial Not Error

Went in with low expectations, though the score on google is quite high. Was very pleased with many things, which justifies my score. First the staff (mainly the owner who served me, at least I think he is one of the owners) was able to discuss the various cultivar tastes when we asked for more details (most shops stop at a brief description). The selection of matcha is ample, not just stuck on "ceremonial" (which is not a category grade in japanese) vs ordinary grade. Over repeated visits we tried 4 different matchas as clear, non sweet (and of course no milk) drinks and it was very good; only one (Yame heritage) had a strong kinako taste that was a bit too dominating, but it was still pleasant to drink. The matcha cruffle was also good. The shop has a cool vibe, not at all "japanese garden" and sadly a bit small, but you should know this from the pics if you searched for the place before. The mirror type ceilings actually make it feel bigger than it is. They can get quite busy, from between 13:30 to 14:30 I counted over 20 customers entering the shop. Lucky to get a table.

This place has so many flavors to choose from, and they also sell the powder to make your own drink at home or gift for friends who enjoy with matcha. it's a pretty small place with not many seats, so it's perfect for take away instead of chilling for a long time.

The café is small but suuuper cool, perfect for content lovers 📸. ❎No parking space. You have to park alongside CMU and walk to the shop.

There are many different matcha café in Chiang Mai. But I MUST come here every time when I visit Chiang Mai. I’m a deep matcha lover, loving matcha latte without any sugar. The matcha bar croffle here is the best !!! My favorite matcha desert in Thailand !!! There are lots of good matcha desert in Bangkok, but nothing like the matcha bar croffle here, not even closer !! By the way, the matcha banoffee is good too😍

Wow I was blown away of the quality of green tea they offer. It’s more of a coffee shop vibe with serving up delicious variety of green tea beverages. If you want high quality or normal you can find it here. The staff were helpful with explaining the varieties. I love the vibes here and grateful for the experience.
