We payed 11€ for one night and this was the best place we stayed at for this price. Good AC, clean, hot water. Wasn't looking for more at this price. Cons - bathroom has like plastic bit in roof (instead of window) - looks ok, but rain makes it very loud. Also there was some minor noise behind the walls, but for short period of time
WARNING! Read before you book! Terrible Service. Booked a room during the Loy Krathong and before I booked and paid I contacted the premise via Whatsapp to confirm the availability of the room and been confirmed it was available. Yet at the last minute they cancelled my booking stating it's a system error for the room had already been booked during that day. Apparently cancelling my booking and hiked up the price to sell for more profit. Ended up ruining my stay in Chiangmai during the Loy Krathong. The worst ever travelling experience.
They have a cafe at the entrance and I had hot cappuccino and it was ok. The space has AC, but is pretty small and only 1 good table and others are small tables.
We stayed in room 1, and if you checked the previous review, someone had already pointed out a strong smell coming from the bathroom drain. I can't believe this problem hasn't been solved after all these months. When we asked for assistance regarding this issue, they just placed a plate with air freshener to cover the drain. However, even with five air fresheners in the bathroom, the smell couldn't be offset. I think the hotel should take this problem more seriously. On the next night, we suddenly couldn't get into the room and couldn't find any staff to help us physically. We could only contact the receptionist by text. They told us they had changed the password, but we were confused as to why they didn't inform us initially. What if we had come back late at night and no one responded to our WhatsApp text? We also doubted the cleanliness of the room as the bed sheet had so many black stains. The air conditioner and fridge were running, but they weren't cooling at all. Moreover, the digital door lock was too simple and didn't have a latch inside the room, which made us feel insecure. The receptionist was responsive tho, and replied to us in a timely manner. The design of the room was cozy, and the location was fine. Those are the pros I can think of. It's budget-friendly, indeed, but the hotel should focus more on the facilities and service.
Great location. The coffee is good and the flavors are bold. Indoor and outdoor seating available in a lovely small garden. They also sell coffee beans in case you want to bring some home. The coffee shop itself isn’t big but very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
