A True Taste of Koh Phangan in Chiang Mai! ​Inshala is an absolute gem. Stepping inside, I immediately felt the same relaxed, free-spirited vibe I love on Koh Phangan. The atmosphere is incredibly chill, the staff are wonderful, and the food (especially the Indian/healthy options) is amazing. If you miss the island energy while in the mountains, this is your place. Highly, highly recommend!

This café is a hidden gem nestled in the woods, far from the city buzz. With its relaxed, hippie vibe and artistic, rustic decor—tatami-style beds, cushions, and pillows—it’s an ideal place to unwind. Surrounded by bamboo and filled with soft music, the atmosphere is both peaceful and calming. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by an orange tabby cat napping in the sunlight, and later spotted a mischievous black cat digging around —both adding charm to the space. The Wi-Fi password, ‘Karma is real,’ was a thoughtful touch that made me smile. We tried the Turkish coffee and Thai espresso, both recommended by the staff, and they were excellent. There’s also a selection of cakes available. Pro tip: bring mosquito spray if you plan to sit outside.
