Weekday mornings are the quietest
Coffee is good. Located on a crowded street as there’s 2 famous restaurants here. Customers of cafe can park their car in front of their cafe. Its pretty empty when i’m there.
I was staying at a hotel near this café, so I came several times. I love it! The coffee is delicious, and the cookies and cakes are great too. The place is very bright and clean, with pleasant music and comfortable seating.
Lovely cafe with a woody, warmly appearance and a familial atmosphere, with a decent amount of sturdy seating, tended to by a bright and friendly bunch. The drinks and cakes are great, and its morning hours on a weekday don't get too busy, with the jazz playing on its speakers always taking centre stage audio-wise. Fantastic spot for some morning bevs and a bit of focus or a chat.
One of my favourite-favourite cafes in CNX; I only wish I'd discovered it sooner. Beautiful drinks, and the strawberry cake had a wonderful soft, plush crumb and a frosting that wasn't too sweet or overpowering. No need for sweetener in the hot coffee (unless you enjoy sweet coffee, no judgment!) because there's no unpleasant bitterness to be found, nor is it a sour shot. Very balanced. My favourite iced drink--and I tried several, for science!--was the coffee and fresh orange juice, which is seasonal. Presentation is perfection, and by this I mean that not only is it aesthetically charming with the cups and stickers, but they even open a tab on the iced drink lid for smooth, easy straw insertion. It's not necessary, but I deeply appreciate that level of thoughtful attention to detail. Cafe is mostly quiet, comfortably air conditioned (and there's an air purifier)--perfect place to read, journal, and write letters. Or bring a friend! Seriously, I can't recommend it enough, the quality of the experience and the very reasonable prices had me coming back daily.
This minimalist-style café has a simple and cozy atmosphere, offering a selection of drinks, pastries, and possibly whole cakes for order. I stopped by after having a meal at the restaurant across the street and decided to try some desserts. The staff were friendly and provided great service. I ordered a scone and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious—rich and well-balanced. However, the scone wasn’t quite to my taste. It was generously sized, but the texture inside was a bit too crumbly for my liking. There are a few seats inside, and while the space isn’t too large, it doesn’t feel cramped. It’s a nice spot to relax with a drink. If you enjoy minimalist cafés with good service, this place is worth checking out!
