Lovely shop selling Burmese and Thai crafts, in support of activists. Clothes, deco, food, soaps and a lot of great items, perfect for buying souvenirs ☺️ the coffee next to it is very nice too, so a great stop before the train station!
Love this shop so much ! I came here directly because I wanted to support it since it’s a store that helps Myanmar people. At first I didn’t expect much, but when I arrived it was actually even better than I imagined. The shop is beautifully set up with so many cute and unique things to buy, and I ended up getting quite a lot because everything felt meaningful and the quality was great. The shopkeepers were super kind, they recommended items, explained the stories behind some of the products, and even gave me a small gift which made me feel really welcomed. It’s not just about shopping here, it feels good to know that what you buy also supports a community. I’ll definitely come back again :)
Hidden gem of Chiang Mai - highly recommend for souvenirs/gifts that support Myanmar + Thai artists and grassroots organizers. Perfect way to support many artists and uplift women activists. Also, the shop is next to a lovely cafe with great food and coffee. Definitely worth stopping by!
What a wonderful place!!! A small forested area with cafes and this fair trade and eco friendly shop with items made by people and artisans from Myanmar. You will find some really lovely and unique things here, and of course every purchase is for a good cause. We picked up some great Christmas gifts for family, and will definitely be back for more (next time would love to visit the cafe too!)
You will not regret visiting this little shop, tucked away on a small road behind Yok. They are supporting artisans in both Myanmar and Thailand and are doing it in an ethical and caring way. The goods are thoughtfully designed and well-made. There's a driveway off to the right of the entrance that leads to a parking lot with plenty of space. There's also a restaurant and tons of seating if you are looking for a place to meet up with some friends for good food and/or a drink.
