A absolutely perfect breakfast! It gave me all the energy for the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and happy to answer any questions. Before 8:00 AM, the environment was very quiet with few customers, and the food came out very quickly. After 8:30 AM, it got busier and busier, haha. I highly recommend this restaurant; as long as you avoid peak hours, it will be a very enjoyable meal.
I had a pleasant meal at Thaan Aoan Restaurant in Chiang Mai. The food is good and generally well prepared, with flavors that reflect traditional Thai cuisine without being overly adjusted for tourists. The menu offers a decent selection of local dishes. What we tried was tasty and made with fresh ingredients, even if not particularly memorable. Portions are fair and prices are reasonable for the area. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed, suitable for an easy, no-frills meal. Service was polite and efficient, nothing exceptional but perfectly adequate. Overall, Thaan Aoan is a solid option if youβre nearby and looking for straightforward Thai food in a calm setting. Not a standout destination, but a reliable choice.i
Nice dining in atmosphere. Clean authentic Chiang Mai design. I had the signature Chiang Mai Khao Soi with pork meat, which is a yellow noodle with Thai curry soup. So delicious. You can ask for less spicy or no spicy. Saw their Western breakfast looks delicious too. A blend of perfectly local Chiang Mai, Thai food and Western food.
Was pleasantly surprised with the meal I got here. It was next to a main road and even though I sat outside with all the planting and lights it was actually very atmospheric. Pretty standard Thai meal of spring rolls, pad Thai and mango sticky rice but it was my last night in Chiang Mai and you can't go wrong with these classics. Really lovely food and impeccable service and not expensive for what I got. Very tasty and super impressed.
This place deserves 5 stars all around, one of the best in all of Chiang Mai. Each dish was prepared fresh and presented with care. Food was flavourful, portions large, and food quality high, all with very reasonable prices. The mango bowl was a highlight! Service was friendly, polite, and quick without being intrusive. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe. Will definitely be back!
