Basecamp trail cafe

The location is amazing and the area itself is very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the Pad Thai was mostly just noodles, with almost no vegetables or tofu. The portion was also quite small, and since I was hoping for a proper breakfast, it wasn’t ideal for me. Coffee was okay.

Basecamp Coffee Club is a pleasant café with a relaxed atmosphere, good coffee and tea, and several comfortable seating options. The outdoor terrace is especially nice and a good place to sit and unwind. Inside, however, the air conditioning is very cold, so it’s not really a place to warm up. Prices are quite high, particularly for pastries, cakes, and cinnamon rolls, which feel rather expensive for the portions. A plus point is the small courtyard with convenient parking for scooters and bicycles, as well as a sports shop next door and a small kiosk downstairs. Overall a nice stop for a drink, but noticeably pricey.

Excellent selection of local Thai beans for sale or extraction. I got V60 local light roast beans over ice, highly reccomend 👌

Great cafe in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by trees. I tried their dirty coffee which was fantastic, and ordered chicken rolls as a snack which was delicious. They have showering facilities and clean toilets too. Just watch out for the falling nuts from the trees, and ensure you sit under the cover, as they were quite hefty and made a large thud when hitting the ground, can imagine how painful it'll be if it hit your head!
