Weekday mornings are the quietest
Excellent coffee, good price! The owner is very kind, and the service is thoughtful, they provide mosquitoes spray on every table. Sometimes you have to wait over 20mins due to too many customers, but the owner will tell you waiting time while ordering. This cafe is almost my everyday coming-to place. Really a hidden gem!
Wanna know why this place is popular? The latte is double the size of other places, 40bhat, and tastes A+ level. Yea you could find some places with S tier coffee that might edge Areemitr out, but you will pay triple the price or more. The only downside is the wait times; I hope they can upgrade to a larger machine or hire help and expand their wonderful business.
It has been ten days since I returned to my hometown, but I still miss Areemitr’s coffee so much, especially the decaf. The decaf there was better than any I’ve had in all the many countries I’ve traveled to. The atmosphere was incredibly quiet, warm, and peaceful. I was deeply impressed by the coffee expert who looked like a grandfather—or perhaps a father—and by the kind service of his grandson, or maybe his son. My heart felt warm because of them. On my last day, I said goodbye and told them I hoped we’d meet again next year. I visit Chiang Mai every year, so it felt a little sad that I only discovered this place now. At the end of 2026, I’ll go there every day :) Until then, I wish you good health and happiness.
We stopped by 2 days we were in Chiang Mai, and on Christmas day we got takeaways (where they gave us Dunkin Donuts free with our coffee 🥲) They’re so kind and generous, it cost us 70baht (Aus$3.50) for 2 coffees, mine with almond milk (milk lab too) which is crazy, they could easily charge double, & the coffee is good quality. They provide free water & wifi, and kindly refused when i tried to leave them a tip. The bathroom for the cafe is in their house which they kindly let me use. If you are in the area definitely check them out, they deserve all the business they can get & they make incredible coffees. thank you so much ☺️
This place has become very popular over the last few years, especially if you live around Santitham. It’s honestly the best coffee ever... made with so much love and it costs only 40 baht. I always love to support small family business and they are the sweetest. the son and his dad work together and brew the best coffe, I really like them. It's always a pleasure to enjoy my morning coffee here. It has such a cute surrounding with the small plants in the sitting area. Since it became more popular, the waiting time can be a little longer, but that’s because everyone wants good coffee for 40 baht.
