Weekday mornings are the quietest
Loved this café! The coffee is genuinely great, and the whole aesthetic of the place is beautiful — very thoughtfully designed. Everything felt spotless and well taken care of, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to for both the vibe and the coffee.
Another must-visit coffee spot in Chiang Mai, set in a really beautiful café space. I stopped by around 4 pm on a Sunday, and the place was still packed—including the upstairs seating. We ended up sitting outside, which turned out to be quite nice with the Sunday market setting up nearby—a great atmosphere if you don’t mind the buzz. I ordered their dirty coffee, which was excellent and didn’t disappoint. I also picked up some coffee pods for my Nespresso, which I’m looking forward to trying at home. A great stop if you’re exploring Chiang Mai’s coffee scene.
My first visit to this cafe on a Sunday morning, before 10am it was quiet and peaceful. After 10am the crowd started to fill up the place. My go to coffee has always been an espresso, no sugar. I tried the medium roast today and it was quite balanced and not overly bitter. I didn’t see a separate food menu, what was available right next to the cashier was banana muffin, which tasted warm and delicious. I liked the extra seeds in the mix. This place has an industrial feel to the design, spacious and yet warming with the lighting and furniture. They have a separate shelf selling coffee beans and other products, I will most definitely buy some before I leave town. They deliberately don’t provide any electric sockets, in a move to discourage people to linger. The balcony is closed, but there is one table outside by the entrance.
Good local Geisha - tried both hot and ice drip and taste different (hot: more fruity, ice is sweeter). The banana muffin is also fluffy and yummy! Oh and Not to mention, marvelous interior design. Don't miss this if you are in town (and they close early at 1745 (Wed)
I tried both their espresso & hot drip (hand-pour over filter coffee) both are execute nicely. And I tried all their beans. Asoom, aya, Ader (Geisha). The calibration is on point. came here continuously for 3 days. Will definitely revisit if I’m at Chiang Mai again. Or should I say, I will revisit Chiang Mai because of Akha Ama. If you truly appreciate coffee/specialty coffee. Here’s an excellent choice for you. Bonus points if you’re looking to try local Chiang mai beans.
