Noodles and broth in ramen were good, pork in ramen and gyoza was a bit dry and overcooked. Wakami salad had too much dressing which made it a bit soggy.
The workers and food were incredible! I was really craving Japanese food while in Chang Mai, so I decided to stop in here one night. I absolutely loved the kaisen ramen bowl that I ordered; therefore, I went back three nights in a row to get it multiple times. The workers knew my order by night two. Also, I am not a fan of eating squid (which is present in this dish), but I'm okay with picking around it. However, they picked up on this, and on the last night, they subbed in more of the other seafood for the squid without me having to ask!
Great food! I ordered the Katsu Curry, and my partner had the ramen. The dishes were high quality, generously sized, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Service was quick and the rice bowl with egg was absolutely delicious and came with a free side of kimchi and miso soup which I hadn’t realised would be served with it. The meal was 128 baht, came up quickly and was thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn’t communicate well with the waiting staff, but I wouldn’t expect any different as my Thai or Japanese is no good either.!
Serves sushi, ramen, gyoza and various other Japanese staples. Service was friendly and quick and the gyoza a good size and well cooked. Space is limited, but there is counter seating and Japanese style low tables are available for groups. Located between the Tops supermarket and Mercure hotel, so very convenient for customers of either.
