Stopped by Cha Tra Mue for a quick meal and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Hong Kong noodles and the century egg porridge—both comforting and flavorful. The porridge was creamy and hearty, while the noodles had a nice light broth with fresh greens and dumplings. For drinks, we tried the lemon tea with rose and the green tea with honey lemon—both refreshing and perfect with the meal. A great spot if you’re craving simple dim sum-style comfort food with their signature Thai teas. Downside is there are flies hovering on tables.
I love the brown sugar bubble tea! The green tea was delicious too! I bought a bunch of their products to take home.
Cha Tra Mue is a must-visit tea shop with an impressively wide menu. It’s the perfect place to stop by and take a break when you’re tired from walking around the city. From the classic Thai milk tea to fruit teas and matcha variations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each drink is carefully prepared, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. A great spot to recharge and refresh during your sightseeing.
Best Thai tea while I visit Thai. Very fragrantly delicious 🤤 The cafe also very comfortable
Cha Tra Mue is a classic Thai tea brand. This store was new looking, clean and most importantly, had air con. Lots of seating upstairs and had a toilet. The ice cream had great tea flavour but was a bit lacking in milk - wasn't that creamy. But then, this is to be expected in South East Asia, where dairy is very expensive. I didn't have cha yen this time but I've had it before in Bangkok, and it was good.
