The bagels were good but the service was so bad. The lady behind the counter was arrogant, being completely unwelcoming and quite frankly nor helpful or nice. She basically looked at us with bland eyes waiting for us to magically give her instructions about her own work. Not cool, won’t come back. On top of that, we were the only order in the queue, and she took 30 mins to prepare two bagels. We both worked in the service industry and this is just ridiculous.

I just tried the Pastrami Bagel today and it was great! I will definitely come back and recommend it to others. The team also was willing to meet my custom wish to change our one ingredient, thank you and see you soon :)

Superb bagels with some really nice combinations. We had the beef pastrami and the salmon with wakame salad bagels. The bagels had the perfect texture and all the combinations worked quite well, and they did not skimp on the fillings at all. We also wanted to get the chicken one, but when we were ordering they were unfortunately out of it. The staff were super cool and the store had lots of cool stickers all over the walls. The food was made fresh and packaged every nicely. Would probably be my go to bagel spot in budapest if I were to live there.

By far, the best bagels we’ve ever had. Such fresh ingredients, especially the bagel bread itself. We were in Budapest for just a few days and ate here three times. Fantastic place, highly recommend!

Wombat’s bagels are outstanding. I ordered the Lazac: Philadelphia cream cheese, onion, salmon, wakame, tomato, pickles and it really hit the spot. Wombat’s is a great way to start your day! You can’t go wrong with any of their bagel sandwiches. It’ll give you the energy you need to kick off your day!
