It was incredible, we really enjoyed our food. They have an amazing menu, really delicious coffees and fresh orange juice. The staff was really lovely as well. The only bad thing that I can say is that it’s a bit expensive but very well deserved. It also has a really cozy atmosphere. You should definitely come here if you visit Budapest. ✨🎄

We came here several times, and every single visit was exceptional. The food was perfectly prepared — the eggs, the bacon, the pastries — everything felt fresh, balanced, and cooked with real care. And that spicy hot chocolate… simply divine! Thick, rich, and unforgettable. The service was warm and attentive, always with a smile, and the attention to detail was impressive. It’s clear that the people here truly love what they do. With just a bit more refinement, Velvet Café could easily reach Michelin recognition — it already has the heart, soul, and quality of a one-star restaurant. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food served with genuine warmth.

When i walked in I immediatley knew this place would have lovely food and I was right! Not only was their food exquisite but their service was incredible, the waiters engaged with the customers and showed lots of interest. In every meal they made sure to add lots of love and make it perfect! Thank you for this amazing breakfast!🩷

What an amazing experience with that cafe! As Italian, I’m so critical with expresso outside my country, but here I remained surprised!!! The made a perfect coffe the first time, and I went a second time to try the breakfast! I love taste of their pancakes :) And Suzie and the rest of the staff were superlative! I strongly recommend it!
