This “renewal” is not my taste. They have no pastries so you can practically get no sweets when having coffee or tea. For some reason they replaced glasses with plastic water cups. Even if recycled, I don’t believe plastic cups are modern and environmentally friendly. Since they say they modernized…
Used to be a nice place in the beginning. Now after some renovation they stopped selling desserts and bakery because they now believe only in healthy food (also while they had 'unhealthy' products they've always struggled to keep enough of them and offer a stable selection despite the extra pricing). First, as an adult I can responsibly decide which food to choose, also there are tons of healthy bakery and dessert products - just not here anymore. Your food options now are chia pudding and poke bowl and further main course type meals - well, not my cup of tea. Neither Rusty from now.
If you're going to pay this much for coffee - which has gone downhill in quality - and cake - no longer a wide selection - one would expect your coffee to be prepared. They forgot: no apologies offered. Used to be so much better. Plenty of better places nearby.
One thing is that no one welcome you and everything is self service (not the prices). Today I went for my food after the beep on a device. They had no forks and knifes left. I asked the woman responsible, not easy getting her attention as she was on her phone, and the response was that I should wait for their washing machine. I disagreed, since my food was warm, and I got a plastic knife and wooden fork. It is obvious that the staff doesnt care much here. Not coming back.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place has a cozy, chill atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed morning. Our first coffee wasn’t quite warm enough, but the second one we ordered was absolutely good. They are dog-friendly, and we loved how sweetly they treated my dog. It’s clearly a popular place, as quite a few people came and went while we were there, creating a lively yet pleasant vibe. They also offer gluten-free bread, which is great for anyone with dietary needs. However the breakfast I ordered was also a bit cold.. Overall, a lovely spot we’d happily return to — and we’re looking forward to trying their other locations as well.
