Stranger Cafe

We arrived early in Budapest and were wandering the streets while waiting for our hotel to be ready. We stumbled upon this charming, semi-basement corner cafe called 'Stranger Cafe' with a cool cat logo. It looked so inviting from the outside that we decided to go in, and it didn't disappoint! Great atmosphere, quiet enough to read, but also perfect for hanging out with friends. The staff was polite and the hot coffee was excellent. I wish I lived in Budapest just so I could visit it more often

Really nice, cozy, and not too pricey cafe located in downtown Budapest. Very well decorated. The staff are helpful as well. A lot of seats available with free wifi. The coffee is good but the lemonade served with honey is the best! P.S. private events are also welcomed.

Cozy and nicely located cafe in downtown Budapest, near Nyugati. Barista was friendly, coffee was good, the atmosphere was comfortable as well!

The waitress is very helpful, attentive. Free WiFi is available. I could charge my phone and do an online meeting while having a coffee. Cosy, small place. The cake was very delicious, the cottage cheese was a little frozen tho. Definitely be back, 100% recommended! :)

Was a regular as a tourist for the three days we stayed nearby and can’t complain at all :) cute little cafe with the best coffee options and the warmest cinnamon buns for breakfast. The only feedback would be maybe some more options food wise :) also the nicest staff who were happy to help us out as we were new to the city
