Sock's coffee

Let's say you run a coffee house next to one of the most attractive and touristic spots in the capital city of Hungary. What are you doing to achieve better goals or better ratings? You’re not only using the potential of the place, but you also try to upgrade it to be as creative as possible. This coffee house can become such a place if the owner or whoever rents the space has a little more creativity and imagination! What are they doing about it? Nothing in the world! The service is very friendly, and the people who are working there are talented and incredibly nice. However, the location it’s treated in the most mediocre way! Long story short, I hope there will be a new owner who doesn't make the mistakes of the predecessor!

Went there on my trip to Budapest on new year day. Most of the stuff was already gone since we went there around 3 pm. Luckily, I ordered the only veg sandwich left and wasn't disappointed. It was very good a bit dry though. Also ordered a milk coffee which was very huge and tasted good too. Everything was good! Would visit again.

We popped into Sock's to warm up while waiting for the bus across town. Had zero expectations from the unassuming exterior, but received the best hot chocolate in all of Budapest! The two staff working that day were super friendly & kind (also spoke English) and even gave us two freshly baked cookies for free. We bought an oatmeal/M&M cookie to go, which was also delicious. The cafe was clean (as was the bathroom) and simply decorated. Absolutely recommend a stop here!

Friendly service. Decent latte and a good mozzarella tart. Not a bad takeaway option. They don't accept OTP SZEP even though it says they do online

Really nice, authentic café in the heart of the town. Delciuos coffee, tasteful sandwiches, included paleo and vegan. There is pastries which you can eat in menus also. You can choose from other menus like small or big sandwich, and eggs too. There is table service here, although if there are a lots of guest, you should go inside and order. They will be thankful. The staff are very nice, helpful, and smiling. And don't forget to eat one of the deserts!
