Expectation Vs REALITY FAIL UPDATE TO THEIR ✨UNPROFESSIONAL✨ RESPONSE: “We indicated that this could be solved” - you told me I could buy another one - in my eyes that is definitely NOT a situation “solved”. That’s an “I can’t be arsed with you sort it yourself” response. The fact you HAVE TO LIE in order to respond completely undermines your own business. You did not offer to prepare it as you say what you evidently said was “tough”. Your social media platforms do not state what each drink is. And a hot chocolate is very clearly on your menu listed under the same category as every other drink which has latte art. I strongly suggest you update your menu to correctly state which does and which doesn’t since there is no clarity anywhere and prevent further false advertisement. This is my issue. Also, the hot chocolate is a lot more expensive for less effort. I was happy to pay hot chocolate price for the correct drink but you declined. You have single-handledly ruined my time here in Budapest. Leaving the country of Hungary with an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I must say I appreciate you stating it took me 15 minutes to query the art because this further supports my claim about being ignored! Despite being the only person there! It took 15 minutes to get a member of staff’s attention! Mutual respect - please tell me in what way I wasn’t respectful? I was polite every step of the way. It is actually your staff member I found to be confrontational. Even as I was paying and wanting to leave - ultimately in tears from my terrible experience - your staff member asked why I didn’t like the hot chocolate. In actual fact, I am autistic and struggle with ARFID. I can only consume what I have mentally pre-prepared myself for but I did not feel it appropriate to be backed into a corner to explain this. But either way, it’s not very INCLUSIVE of you. It’s also interesting that you’ve admitted to using ChatGPT in your response which is exceptionally bad for the environment. So you’re blatantly admitting to unprofessionalism, discrimination & global warming. Wow, what an establishment 👏🏻 I stand by all of my previous, TRUTHFUL, statements since I can be truthful. I also work in hospitality and you could’ve just swapped the drink. Oh well, looks like I’m telling everybody on socials to cancel this place instead… SHAME. OG Review: I came here from a TikTok recommendation - not a chance I’d have stopped here without TikTok as the place is not inviting from the outside, it was only because I was specifically looking for it that I found it and still then wasn’t convinced it was open! I only walked 40+ minutes here in the cold for the latte art seen in other people’s reviews. But the menu does not state which have art and which don’t - the hot chocolate I ordered was under the same category and we all know it is perfectly possible to do art on a hot chocolate too so why would I presume otherwise? Anyway, as you can see it came without. I politely questioned which drinks do and don’t and they said the hot chocolate doesn’t - but they did not tell me this before I ordered it as I wouldn’t have done! They also charge 14% service charge (which is stated on their menu) on top of already ridiculous prices. I accepted paying this for the sake of the art but like I say I didn’t get any. So why am I paying £4.20 for a disgusting, boring and quite frankly TINY hot chocolate and unfriendly service? AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!! In terms of this place not being inviting: Far out with no images or menu available to view from the outside. I was the only person in there and felt ignored throughout my experience. There is chill music not that you can really chill when the 3 members of staff are gossiping so loudly. Felt really unprofessional and as though I as a customer was crashing their hangout. So unfriendly. Be aware they also charge for takeaway cups - and again don’t disclose this upfront.
I ordered a latte that came with a beautiful pink design - I've never seen anything like it! The waiter was very cute and friendly. It’s such a peaceful spot to relax. It might be a bit pricey, but it’s totally worth it.
positives first: very good lemonade, colourfull coffee, good hollandaise, three charming eyecandy ladies espresso came lukewarm - which is bad in a speciality coffeeshop: pre-heating cups is already invented - and standard in italy. so is making espressos AFTER milk-based coffees as they cool out faster. food is okay in a city full of creative brunch restaurants. prices are already on the higher side - even before the 14% service charge.
Whenever you showed your guests the Parlament you will always want to drink a good beverage. It would be a sudden question in your group aka "Hey! Does anybody want to grab a drink?" Where to go then? Here! This collection of wine won't leave you indifferent. Anything for anyone's taste. Desserts for ladies? Sure! Desserts for gentlemen? Of course! Everyone will like those And coffee... To be short, check how many coffee spots I visited in Budapest and be sure, this one has the tastiest so far! Come and try :)
Perfect spot for before or after Parliament visit! Breakfast and brunch menu until noon and an entirely different menu in the afternoon! The traditional Hungarian options are limited in the morning but you can still ask your host to suggest what is local. Coffee is from Brazil! Something I personally really appreciate! Friendly, fast (if needed), and with outdoors and indoors seating areas! Enjoy this convenient and delicious place!
