mati's coffee shop

We found this place by chance, it's a very cute little cafe with friendly service. Their matcha is very delicious along with the pastries :).

Unfortunately I can't give more stars, although I would have liked to. The araks are either not well-made or the oat milk is overheated, but instead of a 900 HUF cappuccino I paid 1200 HUF, but what annoyed me the most was that a shot of coffee was already ready and the overheated (and therefore overheated) oat milk came with it. Obviously, for a cold shot, you have to boil the milk to make it hot, but overheated milk has a slightly worse taste and feel as a coffee drinker. Red flag if you don't have time to make your coffee freshly. Edit: I see now on the menu that the alternative milk is actually 300 HUF extra, so I can only say that it's disgusting.

Wonderful new coffee on Mester Street! Super friendly service and amazing take-away coffee. A perfect stop on the go🙂
