Took a local’s recommendation and headed to Mantra Specialty Coffee in Budapest — and it absolutely delivered. This is one of those places that takes coffee seriously without being super pretentious about it. The baristas know their craft. The coffee itself was excellent, balanced, and brewed with real precision. I drank it so quickly, because it was yummy, but it the kind of cup where you can slow down a bit because it creates space and is deserving of your attention. The space is relaxed and modern, with that understated specialty-coffee feel: good light, with lots of people deep in conversation or doing some writing/work. If you’re in Budapest and needing a genuinely quality coffee, this is firmly in the top tier. I love when you find a good small local place, and not a tourist trap. It’s not too far out of the way - and definitely worth a visit.
I had a coffee and a cake it was pleasant place and test was also good thank you so much for the service and thanks for the Brothers who are working there. I had used the bounce app for storage of my luggage it was a safety place but the fastest too high just for one day from morning to evening bounce app charged me 18 euros for three bags.
Loved the Coffee here and the option that you can choose between two different coffee roasts of the day. I went almost every day during my time in Budapest. Staff sometimes needs a little training though, I was almost charged too much twice and had to point it out. I always ordered the same so I knew what I paid the days before.
It’s a nice spot for a morning coffee. The place was quite busy, which already says something about its popularity. They serve really tasty coffee and have a wide variety of cakes and pastries to choose from. I enjoyed my Americano — the flavor was great, rich and well-balanced. However, the prices are on the higher side. Paying almost €4 for an Americano feels a bit too much, even considering the quality. Still, it’s a cozy café with good atmosphere and friendly service, so it’s worth a visit if you don’t mind spending a little extra for a good cup of coffee.
Although it was my first visit here, I can homérsky say this place is the top specialty coffeeshop in Budapest, which I was searching for a longer time. I really enjoyed their coffee, there are plenty to choose from and they are available for purchasing in bag as well. This is actually what specialty coffee place should look like, there was enough space to sit, and coffee was very fruity & delicious. We had V60 from Kenya (Ruera) and double espresso from Ethiopia (Chelbesa). Excellent choices. I will definitely come back when I am in Budapest.
