A hidden gem just outside the tourist area. They offer a variety of pastries and drinks, and apparently ice cream as well, although it seems they only restock it on Fridays, so I didn’t have the chance to try it this time. For the pastry, I went for a cream puff recommended by the staff, and it was one of the best cream puffs I’ve ever had. Instead of bland whipped cream, the filling had a strong vanilla flavour in both the cream and custard. Just as the staff member described it — “not too sweet,” but still rich and full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. The puff itself was also very fresh, soft yet still holding its shape, not like those that have been sitting around for too long where the shell loses its texture. The matcha latte was great as well, freshly made and not watery. As for the service, I was very satisfied. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing, and they were able to explain their pastries clearly, which really shows their interest and passion. I would definitely revisit if I have the chance, and I would recommend it too. Sometimes you can understand more about a country’s culture through a small artisan café with passionate local workers, rather than simply taking photos in front of castles and bridges without knowing the stories behind them.
We stopped by Mamie • Artizán for brunch during our stay in Budapest and were very impressed. The quality of the ingredients really stands out — everything tastes fresh, homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee was perfectly brewed. The setting is bright and cosy, ideal for a relaxed morning. The team was friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Definitely one of the best brunch spots we tried in Budapest. A place worth visiting if you appreciate quality and simplicity done right.
We had a lovely brunch at Mamie Artizán in Budapest and truly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming interior that makes you feel immediately comfortable. The coffee was excellent, and the brunch dishes were fresh, well presented and full of flavour. A special thank you to Mélissza for her kindness and attentive service. She made our visit even more enjoyable with her warm welcome and professionalism. A wonderful spot for brunch in Budapest. we would happily return on our next visit.
Absolutely amazing place. Was only in Budapest three days and came here twice. The hot chocolate and croissant were so nice and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend for your trip.
I am a big fan of Artizan and was so happy to find out that they opened a new venture. The vibe is very cozy with high ceilings and indoor seating. We had the cake and some coffee and both were excellent. We want to go back for the ice cream - they look amazing.
