Lion's Locker

This place is amazing! The service is incredible. We were served by Pablo who is equal parts, humour, attention and knowledge. The rest of the team came over and spoke with us too, making us feel very welcome and a part of something. The food was delicious... I only had a Caesar salad (after a big night, it was all I could stomach!) and we had the Göncöl wine, traditional and beautiful.

I visited Lion’s Locker for breakfast and had a traditional Hungarian breakfast, a decaf oat flat white, and a glass of Hungarian sweet white wine. The breakfast was very tasty and well put together, and the quality carried through to both the coffee and the wine. The flat white in particular really stood out and I would comfortably rank it in the top 10 coffees I’ve had, which is saying something given that I’ve had thousands over the years. Service was super friendly and genuinely informative, with all staff speaking excellent English, which made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming without ever feeling forced. It’s also worth noting that they offer luggage storage at a very reasonable cost, which is a great added bonus if you’re arriving early or have time to fill before a departure. Crucially, it doesn’t feel touristy and instead comes across as a quality local spot that happens to be very welcoming to visitors. Definitely recommended as a breakfast or brunch spot when visiting Budapest.

Pablo was fantastic. He made the experience so much better. Offered good food choices. And even talked to us about the wine selections - not just the flavour profiles but about the wines, the wineries and also the history.

We absolutely loved our visit to Lions Locker. Fantastic selection of brunch dishes and drinks, everything super fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming – a real feel-good place. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. For us, it’s hands down the best breakfast in Budapest, and we’ve tried many brunch spots here. Plus: amazing coffee! Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back. ☕️✨

Just had a breakfast at Lion’s Corner I must say im amazed by how well the interior and atmosphere over here at the Lion’s Corner is. Kind and welcoming staff at the counter that will gladly serve you. Very good and tasty food. Everything kept clean too ! As for pricing , the prices are average, you get what you pay for :) Definitely recommend for a coffee or a nice breakfast
