My favorite coffee shop in Budapest! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect location, excellent food and coffee! (The cinnamon bun is absolutely divine)
The most authentic Vietnamese place outside of Vietnam I've visited so far. I got a M banh mi with chicken and an extra fried egg, and I love the idea of having two portion sizes in case you want to eat but aren’t too hungry. The interior looks modern, but it could be cleaned a bit better.
I really enjoyed the Vietnamese breakfast. So delicious! I landed there by chance, as I was looking for a breakfast spot near the university. I did not know what to get and the lady at the counter suggested the Vietnamese breakfast. It was very tasty and the service was really good. My first time when I had Vietnamese coffee, it was ok. I still prefer the Singaporean coffee. But this place is really nice.
I was in the mood for Vietnamese Phin Coffee and so this place popped up on my radar. You can get it hot or iced and the iced one really hit the spot. For those that haven’t had phin coffee, you let it drip onto the condensed milk until it’s done dripping. Then you stir it all together. You can drink it hot or pour it over ice. I also tried the Banh Mi Chao Vietnamese Breakfast: 2 sunny-side up eggs, Vietnamese chicken ham, homemade paté, 5 spice pork, coriander, pickles & a baguette bread. I enjoyed spreading the paté on the baguette and eating it on its own like I used to do growing up. The rest of the breakfast plate was super flavorful and hit the spot. Overall a delightful experience! Come by for a visit!
I come to this cafe quite often for lunch. Their banh mi baguette is perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I have also tried the bánh xèo and savory rice rolls. All of the food is good, but my reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the dishes (that I have tried so far) are a less flavorful than other Vietnamese restaurants in the city (maybe the taste has been westernized a little).
