Lara Café

A pleasant café stop in Budapest with a relaxed atmosphere and decent food quality. The dishes were fresh and nicely presented, and the overall experience was enjoyable without being overly fancy. Outdoor seating is a plus, especially on a nice day, making it a comfortable place to take a short break, have a light meal, or enjoy a drink while watching the street life. Service was friendly and efficient, and prices felt reasonable for the location. Not a must-visit destination café, but a solid and reliable choice if you’re nearby. Would happily return for a casual meal or coffee.

What a gem! Absolutely delicious breakfast, the smoothy was divine and the coffee is fantastic. We were lucky enough to stumble accross this place and genuinely loved it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, brilliant atmosphere and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend heading here!

An absolute gem! Breakfast at Café Lara was amazing – incredibly tasty, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The club sandwich and the Avocado Toast were both spot on: fresh, well balanced, and absolutely delicious. And the coffee? Very, very, very good – rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back! 💛

Best breakfast I had for quite a while. They have gluten-free bread and you can choose the food options you like. The tea I ordered is a big tea pot with lots of tea leaves, not spared! I could change the juice for water. The breakfast plate was full of different delicious things like mushrooms, tomatoe, beans (those were sugary, not recommended as I do not eat sugar), butter, eggs, etc.. The bread is roasted on butter and crispy, superdelicious! Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food arrived within less then ten minutes, very quick and was freshly made. The whole room is smoky due to the open kitchen, so there is smell and it does not look as shiny pristine spotless clean as on the pictures. All in all, highly recommended place. It also has free WiFi.

Absolutely here’s the best brunch restaurant in Hungary. Food is amazing and the staffs are all nice and kind. I’ve never taste delicious french toast ever like here. Here ‘s the best! Honestly , all the bakery is tasty here. Even the bread from English Breakfast is delicious too. I already recommended this restaurant to my friends whenever they have plan to visit Budapest. You should try all the menu here, especially French Toast and English Breakfast!!
