Weekday mornings are the quietest
I think the atmosphere of the place is really bad. Uncomfortable armchairs, high chairs, if a larger group wants to sit down, they can't comfortably sit at a table.... The large square is terribly loud. After dancing we often go down to chat, but by the evening there is nothing to snack on, no sandwiches, no nuts or salty things... there is always beer! I think it is a terribly overpriced place.
One of the best of its kind, nice staff, average food, it does not pretend to be more, that is why we like it))))
Great place to be
We stopped by this place for a late lunch. Both the indoor and the closed, outdoor areas were very cozy. The service was slow, but we got used to it, so it wasn't a problem. The coffee was divine, I recommend it to everyone! The food, however, was disappointing. It was very expensive compared to the quantity and quality. The kitchen also received a few complaints while ordering, as the food was prepared slowly. I would stop by again because of the good coffee and the friendly service.
Réka and Bálint have created a really great atmosphere where I can meet my favorite actors. Delicious bistro food, delicious coffee, soup, sandwiches, tapas every day. As We Love Budapest wrote very aptly: "Where there's Fun, there's Laughter! If you've been to the Methodical Cabinet (Móka Café) a few streets down, then you don't need to guess what the place is all about! The bistro's second location also welcomes guests from morning to evening with delicious, light lunch menus, great drinks and friendly service. Their inner garden is a secret corner of Buda, where we can chat with friends from spring to autumn, or read a book and enjoy the fresh air. Culture permeates every corner of Kacagás, as it is located in the basement of Jurányi House. Fresh croissants in the morning, a lunch menu later, and kenceficek, quesadilla, salad and ironed sandwiches await you with a good beer or a tasty wine in the evening. If we're going to get cultured one door away, we can also pop in in front of the theater for their justly popular pretzel and champagne menu!" Photos: WeLove Budapest
