Nepszinhaz , a shocking street full of unfortunates, drunk at 7am staggering around . Not for the faint hearted tourist , this Cafe is amazing , if you want a taste of what the natives choose then this is for you. cheap, good cakes & coffee in an unpretentious atmosphere , they also haven't learnt to short change or rip off foreigners which is the usual practice in Canny Budapest. highly recommended.

I really like this place. A gem in the ghetto, a time capsule. A traditional family run patisserie. Good simple and more complex cakes and biscuits. Have a coffee in the morning, they close pretty early. The "kakaóscsiga" is one of the best in the city!
