This shop is a gem! Such wonderful pastries at a good price and kind service. The halva is delightful, not too sweet at all. They have so many types of baklava, and it tastes so real. Will be back 🙂
Nice guy overall—even while proudly backing Iran’s king, the Shah 😄 Warning: this is not just sweet. This is ‘your taste buds file a complaint’ level sweet 😂
As a visitor, I was excited to try the baklava, but unfortunately it was undercooked and didn't taste right. The texture was chewy rather than crisp, and given the high price, it felt like poor value. I hope this can be improved for future customers.
Tasty treats from Persia! Pastries and cakes were freshly made, well-balanced and authentic. This is a local family-run gem centrally located in the heart of the historic and beautiful Budapest ❤️
This was the best thing we did in Budapest!!! We got 15 different pastries and split them amongst a family of 5 while visiting from the U.S.A. Then we each rated the treats and compared notes. Such a fun family activity! The bakery was small but had a really amazing selection! So many different choices. The woman behind the counter guided me to sweet versus savory options (I chose sweet which you can tell from the pictures.) Would highly recommend. Very different flavors and textures available. Something for everyone. Don’t miss this hidden gem.
