Neighborhood cafe specializing in unique sweet & savory croissants, plus sandwiches & coffee....
Popped in here for a quick breakfast . If you are looking for a sweet breakfast all sweet and bread based , look no further this is the place for you . All types and indulgent Versions of croissants and chocolate Au pain are available . The only closest thing to a healthy breakfast the sourdough Bread was not available . Not my Type of cafe but if you have a thing for sweet things baked with butter and chocolate this is just the place !!!
Looks way better than it tastes. Had the pistachio croissant and the pumpkin spice caramelita cruffin. The pistachio cream was way too salty and the pastry to dry. Coffee was okay but nothing more. Interior light should be a little less “white” to make it more cozy.
Quickly became our go-to spot for breakfast while on vacation. We tried a bunch of different croissants and loved them all! My favorite was the raspberry pistachio fleur — so good!
A place with a friendly atmosphere with a touch of Scandinavia. The pastries are very tasty, as are the drinks. We had a hard time leaving. We will definitely return the next time we visit Budapest.
Travelled half of the Budapest for the best croissant in town and it was not disappointed. I enjoyed the plain croissant more than the pistachio one but that's completely on me because I don't have a sweet tooth and can't really deal with sweet treat in the morning. But the croissant itself was crunchy, flaky and buttery. And when you bite inside, you can see the layers properly done. So it's worthy of the trip. But the flat white was too light and the iced macha latte tastes powdery. In terms of price, it's cheaper than the cafes in the city centre.
