Weekday mornings are the quietest
I visited this café yesterday, expecting a decent spot for a quick bite and coffee, but I was sorely disappointed. The biscuits were utterly tasteless and felt terribly old-fashioned. Most looked dry as dust. Upon entering, nothing caught my eye; the selection was dull and rubbish. Everything was exorbitantly priced with minuscule portions. I can't fathom how a place with such a poor offering stays in business.
Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere and decoration! Very calm and relaxing place. Especially good for remote work as they have secured wifi connection 😊
Mediocre coffee and desserts, relatively unfriendly staff, service charge mandatory, you're not allowed to sit outside in the middle of May, all for 5148 HUF (12.77€), you're welcome. You are clearly better off just grabbing some other take away coffee place and walk outside in the neighborhood.
At Fanka Buda we had a very nice expresso tonic and my friend had an iced matcha latte, both very good and tasteful. The coffee shop itself is small but feels welcoming and cosy. Hidden gem!
It shall be a quite new place in the area. We were there on a Friday morning just after open. It was quiet, not very busy. The ambience is modern and bright, good start for a day. Service was nice but a bit reserved. Order at the counter. Maybe that point shall be highlighted more for the guests or even to be considered for the concept. Food offer is ok. We tried the waffle, was a good portion. Price service quality was ok in compare to Budapest prices, however service fee was included anyway...
