Very friendly store owner who speaks English. It’s like a little deli where you can get Hungarian paprika, honey, pate, cheese, sausages, wine, beer etc. They stock higher end items than the grocery store. I came in for paprika and ended up having a glass of wine and charcuterie board. I like the spicy salami and the cheese. Delicious.

What a gem we found here. We wanted a light lunch between us with some good wine. Falu was the perfect place. We were welcomed so warmly and felt welcome immediately. We chose the charcuterie board to share and a clean dry white rissling wine for myself and my husband chose a red Merlot. We were very happy with our choices, absolutely delicious and of the greatest quality, all prepared freshly in front of us. The ambience was relaxing with background music and full of charm with all the produce they sell beautifully displayed around us. We stayed in Budapest for a week and this amazing deli/café was the star of our show. Just to add, the price was incredible. Stacked charcuterie board with fresh breads, 3 glasses of wine each for £24. Truly great place and kind people. Thank you.

It appears Falu is not selling fresh bread. I just bought a frozen loaf of bread, still ice cold in the middle, for 1500 HUF. This is a premium price for bread, and I expect it fresh and top quality. This is more expensive than most artisan bakeries. Their fresh spreads are amazing, and they have great deli meat, but this kind of dishonest business practice has lost you my business. Do you think your customers are stupid chumps that you can pull the wool over their eyes and give them a dried-out and frozen loaf of bread? Once you freeze bread it's ruined and you are better off getting a cheap loaf from Spar and saving your money. Frankly, disgusting that you think your customers don't deserve better.

This places is so beautiful and cozy , there is plenty of local products. I like the Hungarian vibes. The coffee is really good and they have many Latin coffee beans The services is really nice Thanks !

Cozy and big enough compared to other places with similar profiles in the neighborhood. Delicious food and helpful staff. It opens only at 08:00 am, but has fresh bakery products. Coffee is not outstanding, but pretty good. Planned to stay open late during summertime.
