Chill, understated coffee shop pouring espresso drinks & tea alongside baked goods & sweets....
Chat GPT recommended this café to me, as I asked for a professional place. It certainly didn't disappoint. Their single origin hand over was excellent value for money, and I also loved their cheesecake. It tasted like sheep’s milk cheese and had a unique aroma.
The girls were really helpful and sweet. I had the perfect brew after I explained what type of coffee I like. The price was a little steep not gonna lie but if you like coffee I think it is worth it. A small downside is laptops are not allowed on tables which is a shame really especially off peak times
It was just Okay. Nothing was bad but it all was lack luster. The carrot cake had all the elements but somehow no flavor. The caramel tart was honestly the best thing we had. Coming in, we were expecting a Barista Championship experience as that is what is advertised on the website/ instagram. But when we came in we were not greeted just stared at. When asking questions about the coffee, they either didn’t know the answer, or didn’t care to answer. Which is strange if you’re proclaiming you’re the best in the country. The filter coffee was lukewarm at best and was very weak. The Cappuccino was decent, the milk tasted great but again the espresso hardly came through. All in all the experience fell short. Disappointing to say the least.
I concur with the reviews here. Very high quality espresso, roasted towards the sour side. If that's your preference, it's top notch. Also pastries are excellent, and yes on the pricier side. I'm not sure how old this building is, but the walls are 3 feet thick, and the complex masonry looks pretty ancient to me. In any event, a very beautiful and cool atmosphere.
Had an awesome time here! The service was excellent and the place had such a great vibe. The coffee was really good, but what I loved most was the tasting offer. I got to try the coffee flower infusion, something I’d never tasted before, and it was super delicious. Then trying the cascara and finishing with the coffee itself was honestly a really interesting experience. I also tried a filter coffee that was very good and nicely balanced. The next day I came back for a V60, which was really pleasant, even if it felt a bit more watery than what I would make at home. If I go back to Budapest, I’ll definitely come here again. Wonderful spot!
