Queues: Often there are queues outside - good sign right? If you wish to dine in at the table the wait is worth it and usually not too long. Otherwise, you can jump the queue and opt for takew instead. Cookies: We overindulged in the cookies from this cafe during our short visit to Budapest. We tried 4 different flavours - Blueberry & Lemon, Cinnamon Swirl, Choc Chip and Lotus Biscoff & Dulce de Leche. We liked them all, they are baked on the day often still warm with a gooey centre and slightly crunchy exterior. Breakfast: It was my birthday, so we also had breakfast here, shakshuka and burger (not that you need an excuse to treat yourself, but if you are celebrating make sure to mention it to the staff 😉). Generous portions and fairly priced. The burger came with a side of chips and shakshuka with a seed cracker (really nice, I couldn't finish it all, but I took whatever was left and enjoyed it as a snack).
We had such an amazing experience at this breakfast/brunch spot! The food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Eggs Benedict + the Avo Smashed and both dishes were outstanding – perfectly prepared with interesting additions and flavor combinations that made them truly special. The coffee was delicious as well and we really appreciated the thoughtfully crafted latte flavors – you can tell a lot of care goes into every cup. And of course, we can’t forget about their cookies… absolutely incredible, some of the best we’ve ever had! What made the experience even more memorable was the service. Nacho, who took care of us, delivered the best service we’ve had in years. Friendly, attentive and very kind – he made our visit exceptional from start to finish. We will definitely come back!
Great experience overall. The food was very delicious and well prepared. The service was excellent, and Amanda was especially kind and attentive, which really made a difference. The breakfast was also very good. A nice option for people on a keto diet, and suitable during pregnancy as well. Would definitely come back.
Cookie Beacon Brunch in Budapest was amazing! It was honestly the best tasting cookie I’ve ever had fresh, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces, which made the experience even better. I genuinely regretted not buying more cookies before leaving. If you’re in Budapest and love desserts, this place is a must-visit!
At Cookie Bacon Brunch we had a fantastic brunch. I ordered the grilled cheese waffle sandwich without bacon, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. My husband had the shakshuka burrata — very flavorful and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed a pistachio latte and a regular latte, both excellent. For dessert, we had the Nutella cookie, which was also very tasty. The prices were very reasonable, and the overall experience was perfect. Highly recommended! Update: We came back again! The lotus cookie and pistachio cookie were also very delicious, and the mango banana smoothie was fresh and amazing.
