i was really looking forward to having a delicious chimney cake in budapest so i decided to trust one of these kiosks because they looked decent enough and cheap. i kind of knew it wasn’t going to be great when she handed me one that had clearly been sitting there and was already half cold. as soon as i took a bite i realised it was chewy and not in a good way. it was actually tough and somehow got tougher the more i ate it. genuinely a jaw workout. the flavor itself wasn’t even that bad but the texture completely ruined it. not fresh, dry and tough 🙁

The Kürtősh was very tasty! I bought the cinnamon flavor for 100 forints. A cute little booth on the corner of a central street – it makes the whole intersection smell amazing

Sept, 2024 Super affordable at just 800 forints! They have a bunch of flavors. I tried poppy seed and cinnamon. Both were really good, but I liked the poppy seed one more.

Delicious chimney cake at a super reasonable price of 800 huf. Ordered cinnamon and the guy gave me the fresh one that I just saw him take out of the oven. Definitely recommend eating this hot and straight out of the oven. The taste was divine.
