Nice place to drink a coffee and study. I went there several times the workers so helpful and polite. Recommended place to visit if you went to Buda Lake.
Great place to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee. The atmosphere is great to enjoy your conversation with a friend or reading a book. The coffee taste is great and prices are reasonable. Baristas are great on dealing with people and they always keep smiling. Their English is good and easy to be communicated. Sitting place is a great and welcoming. Recommending this place if you are nearby, enjoy.
Café Frei is my favorite coffee shop chain in Hungary. I love the coffees (at least one of them 😁) , the atmosphere, the staff is kind, the prices are mostly okay.
Terrible service! The girl named Ivett was so rude. It took her so much time to prepare our order. Other people who came after us, were served before us. When I came to ask about our order she rolled up her eyes and replied very rudely. I wish staff would be more respectful to clients…
I've been a frequent visitor to Cafe Frey since it was opened in Budapart. And while the café itself holds a special place in our neighborhood, I've observed a couple of areas that could use improvement. One notable concern is the lack of a warm and welcoming atmosphere, particularly from the two young girl staff members. On numerous occasions, the service has been rather indifferent, lacking the basic courtesy of a smile or a greeting. Regarding customer service, my friend and I had an unfortunate incident with a staff member named Ivetta. Our orders were overlooked, and despite our inquiries, we received a rather dismissive response. A simple acknowledgment of the oversight and an apology would have significantly improved the situation and ensured customer satisfaction. Furthermore, there have been instances where additional items were added to my bill without prior consent. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it would be appreciated if the staff asked or informed me before making such additions, especially for carton boxes costing around 250 HUF each. Transparency in these matters is crucial. Despite these concerns, I genuinely enjoy the café's offerings and the convenience of its location. I share this feedback with the hope that it serves as an opportunity for improvement, and I look forward to witnessing positive changes in the future.
