Cafe Bene

Bright, eclectic, cheery... and a great espresso macchiato. The batista could not have been any more charming. The artwork, completely covering every wall, spans jazz, scenery, abstract, and everything in between. As a lover of carrot cake, this place does not disappoint. If you find yourself in Budapest, you should stop in at Cafe Bene for a special drink or a snack.

Fun little coffee shop with a lot of character. The espresso was very nice and the service was friendly. The design is a nice change from the typical coffee shop look. Instead of generic IKEA furniture they have bright and comfortable chairs and couches.

What a great find! I thought this was the Korean chain but actually it's independent (different spelling) Such a cool, comfortable spot with relaxing seating and beautiful artwork. I really liked it. Prices are great considering it's in the V. District, the barista was very nice to us and it's table service which is rare for such a small place. The atmosphere is great! We tried the local speciality, which is ice cream coffee, and we will return for it during summer!

Literally our Cafe Perk in Budapest. We found this amazing familiar place where to go almost everyday. The best hot chocolate in Budapest that you can choose between white, milk or dark and you never go wrong. I most of the time get an Americano or a Chai Latte and can guarantee for both! If they have cakes available (not an everyday thing) pick the carrot cake, you won’t regret it. If they don’t have cakes also the croissants are very nice choices. Almost forgot to mention the little cuties they have downstairs: 4 small geckos that are super super nice to wave at every time we go in😍 The staff is the best and their playlist as well: the staff is always super kind and attentive, and the playlist is chill so you can study, but also enjoyable if you just want to chill. Good selection of board games and cards as well, we usually used them to take a break between study sessions. I highly recommend this place for everything and everyone. Also the ambience is crazy good! With many paintings exposed that you can actually buy it really gives you nice vibes and a very nice atmosphere.
