Easygoing cafe serving hearty comfort classics alongside oven-baked sausages & beers....
when you walk in this place, you can hear the walls telling its history. very ambient with antique wooden chairs, tables and seats. walls and especially windows make you feel like you are in austro-hungary. the feeling you get when you enter this place is something you have to experience for yourself, because I can’t describe it. they also serve turkish coffee (excellent btw!). staff is also friendly and appreciate when you try to speak Hungarian.
Cosy, beautiful cafe. The service is great, our drinks were delicious. Highly highly recommended.
A wonderful stop during a busy day in Budapest to slow down and enjoy a cozy, dimly lit cup of Turkish coffee and a warm pita snack. The offerings are well priced and tasty, the seating comfy and cozy. Great atmosphere and certainly a place to spend a rainy afternoon.
Great cafe. Very basic and plain decor outside but we thought we'd try it. What a lovely surprise. The service was fantastic, baklava was delicious and coffees good too. So reasonably priced. The interior was a traditional gem. We will be back for a beer later!
I went for a walk with my husband on a weekend night and stopped by for a beer. The staff was friendly and the store terrace was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The female staff member even gave our dog water to drink, so we were very impressed. It was a very pleasant night with a cold beer.
