Price scam. Prices are displayed in Forints(HUF) but they charge your card in Euros without asking even if your account is in Forints. So Forints you finally pay end up approximately 20% more than what the menu says. They refuse to amend in any way. Food is OK at best. Total tourist trap, please avoid at all cost. There are other honest venues you can spend your time and money on.
This was easiest the worst dining experience I had throughout my entire trip in europe. They are full of tourist trap and really cunning with their devious plan. First, we ordered simple breakfast set which took an hour to come, and only after asking again. Then, they served a wrong order to us and charged us for it. Outrageous experience. Please DO NOT visit.
We ordered a pasta and nachos, good enough portion, a limoncello and warm tea for drinks. The food was overall good, and the atmosphere was a good vibe. Nice place to come sit after shopping on the street. Around 40 euros in total!
I just had the Lángos (the fried bread) with chicken Goulash on top ...and a beer and was just over 20 euros and I think it was good but a little bit expensive...in Budapest for that price you can have a really good main dish in a restaurant
I was there just for a drink before i catch my transit flight. Waiters dont know how to smile maybe. Even though i managed to sit on terrace. I ordered a cocktail and a traditional Hungarian spicy sausage. The food was served cold. Finally when i asked if i can get a table inside with a electric socket , the waiter was arrogantly saying « we cant ». When i went to toilet , the barman came to the same toilet with his apron on. Then i can imagine the hygienic level in this restaurant.
