The walnut swirl was wonderful. Not overly sweet and it had good amount of filling. Nice subtle butter smell, good crunch. I recommend going early to get things fresh out of the oven
We love a strong long black and a flat white. We were not let down! Loved the cafe, if we come back to Budapest, we definitely be back here!
2000 HUF for a not fresh small pistachio croissant, and 2000 HUF for 1 FLAT WHITE??? That’s a ripoff. Place wants to compete with best bakeries in town like Vaj and Artizan, but provides very poor quality with inflated prices . AVOID THIS PLACE.
Hands down best bakery/coffee shop in Budapest!! I’ve come 5 days straight to try every baked good on the menu. Top favorites are cottage cheese croissant, blueberry Camembert croissant, and the körözöttes focaccia sandwich! Hope all of these will encourage you as they encouraged me!
I used to live close to this bakery and it was my favourite place. Unfortunately, now it is too far to visit that often. This week I came there twice because on the day I came first time they didn't have any kakaos csiga (my fav) so I took turos taska and I was a bit disappointed... the dough wasn't creating layers and wasnt crispy at all. It tasted like regular turos taska from lidl ;) i couldn't believe that the quality dropped that much. I came back again yesterday and I was positively suprised that the pastries were crispy and fresh as I remembered. Because of that situation I'm taking one star as that good bakery should try to keep same standard all the time. Regardless I recommend to visit this place! Most of pastries is 1000 huf per piece.
