The food and drink menu is subpaar at best. The servers are slow and mix up the orders. The place is so loud you can't hear the other end of a 4 people table when playing. During payment there were random items on the receipt we didn't order. Having to argue about the list of items while people anxious to leave are lining up behind you is not a pleasant experience. Their online order system is also outdated requires an account and doesn't allow paymant like any other system I've used in the city. There are much better options for this kind of entertainment in the city. Do yourself a favour and skip this one.
It was a great place to spend an evening with friends. They have 2 shelves with English games, so you'll definitely find something to play. 4 stars because i think the website interface could be better. First, the menu was in a swiping format, which is really annoying because any slight touch it swipes to the next category (try it and you would understand what i mean). Secondly, it prompts to register/login to order. Again, I don't find this necessary but fine. I minimised the site to open my email app to get the verification code and upon return, the registration page timed out. Email/password combination don't work either to login or re-register. It was so frustrating, we just went to order at the counter.
I was in Budapest for the first time and discovered this café with board games by chance. My boyfriend and I visited and loved it. We already knew several games, so it was easy to get used to the atmosphere. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great time! I highly recommend it.
We went here to spend a date night with my husband. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They helped us choose a board game, based on our interests. They have QR codes on the tables, which you can scan and order from your phone. I really liked this thoughtful touch, so when you’re in the middle of the game you don’t need to go and wait at the bar. Definitely would recommend, but with reservations made ahead of time, because the place got busy, and we went on a Monday.
Best board game place I’ve been to thus far! The place has plenty of space, tons of games (especially ones in English), and great vibes! The staff are super kind and welcoming. There was no pressure to buy anything but we all got hot chocolates which were delicious! I will definitely be back :)
