ZEIT Café

Super! A cafe located in an old gas station, with exceptional items and impeccable service. Also they have David Lynch’s exhibition incoming, excited for that! Overall 10/10.

This might be one of the most gorgeous cafés in Berlin. It’s an old gas station and the outside terrace is absolutely stunning, it feels like stepping into a little oases. Sadly, the coffee didn’t taste that good in my opinion. You‘re also not allowed to use laptops (which makes sense since this place is designed for people take a break but still good to know) There is a very nice gallery inside the building that’s definitely worth checking it out!

The service was very friendly when we came to visit. Everyone was kind and tried their best to make this place a special experience. Which it absolutely is!! It might be “pricier” but to be fair - the whole place also needs to be run, there is a free art gallery and no charge, you can enjoy the space for no additional fees. Isn’t this enough? The coffee was on point and the cake was a delight. I generally think Berlin has very high food quality standards. And this caffe was no exception. It felt also very family friendly, there were children playing and parents with their stroller at their table. It felt generally very easy going and welcoming. A little green oasis away from the city. I’m glad it opened again!

The place has a nice ambiance and gives off a relaxing atmosphere. A good place to catch up with your family or a friend. The service was great as well. The personnel at the cashier was very friendly and had a smile on her face as she greeted us. I ordered a flatwhite and two pastries to share with my friend. The lemon tart was delicious, but the blueberry one was a bit dry. Overall experience in this cafe was a top-notch. I will definitely come back again.

Truly a unique spot – a beautiful blend of architectural gem, gallery space, and cozy café, with an incredibly lush, verdant garden terrace. The atmosphere is calm and thoughtful, and the staff are genuinely kind, sweet, and welcoming. The coffee and chai lattes were delicious, and I was particularly happy to find a few vegan options available. A really exceptional place – highly recommend!
