The dessert tasted great, but the prices were high—about twice as much as elsewhere. The woman serving us was also unfriendly and noticeably impatient during our order.
Their San Sebastián Cheesecake is really tasty! But I would recommend taking something else if you’re not into super sweet stuff (the sauces are incredibly sweet, but without them the cheesecake wouldn’t taste that good for someone with a sweet tooth like me), I’d take something like a chocolate soufflé we also tried, which was moderately sweet. Overall, the cafe is really spacious and works till late, which makes it a comfy hangout spot for the evening/late night👍🏻
shameless establishment ! There's nothing resembling a magnolia in this. They've cut the strawberries into 1mm pieces and arranged them so they're visible from the outside, and there's not even a single whole strawberry in this container! It's ridiculous, ready-made cream and lotus. I guess they are new in Berlin, and they think its a place to deceive and rip people off , but its not👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Cheesecake was quite good but the service was one of the worst, if not the worst I've ever experienced in restaurant/cafe. The woman at the counter was making fun of how I ordered the cake in German, by repeating what I said a few times, with a cynical facial expression. It was clear that that was not meant to be funny. I was thinking what made she behave in such a way, perhaps because I am Asian(?), could be. Anyway it was disgusting and unacceptable that such person who knows no manner got a chance to work in this industry. I'm not gonna step back in this place again until they get rid of this employee. 1 star for service is way too much so here no service rating from me.
I think it's a really nice place. The desserts are fresh and delicious. I especially liked the San Sebastian cheesecake. The prices might be slightly high, but the quality is definitely worth it. The staff are friendly and attentive. There’s also a wide variety of desserts to choose from. They serve freshly brewed Turkish tea, which I really enjoyed. I haven’t tried their coffee, but the tea was just the way I like it. The place is also clean, including the restrooms, which were tidy and well-maintained. I think I might go again. It's a proper Turkish-style patisserie. No loud music blaring inside, and the tables aren't crammed together. It’s a nice spot where you can sit down and chat with friends or family.
